Powers: Kalypso has the standard abilities of Earth's Eternals, though she has focused the majority of her power into illusion abilities.

Enhanced Strength
Cosmic Energy Manipulation: Kalypso can manipulate cosmic energy, projecting beams of force, heat, or light from her eyes and hands but only when she is experiencing strong emotions.
Flight: Kalypso, like all Eternals, is able to fly, but she has yet to master it.
Illusion Generation: Like her mother, Kalypso is able to generate illusions that affect all five human senses. This is her strongest area of abilities.
Invulnerability: Kalypso is resistant against cold, disease, electricity, energy, heat, radiation and toxin attacks. She will not age after reaching a certain point, and can only be killed if her atoms are scattered.
Levitation: Kalypso can levitate herself and up to seven others.
Telekinesis: Kalypso can telekinetically manipulate objects and generate a force field.
Telepathy: Kalypso can communicate telepathically, though she can not mentally read the mind of any Deviant.
Teleportation: Kalypso can teleport herself and others, but risks becoming paralyzed in pain at her destination.
Uni-Mind: Kalypso, like all Eternals, can join the Uni-Mind.
Power enhancement This is an ability unique to Kalypso. She is able to channel the cosmic energy available to all Eternals into another person. If this person is a mutant or a human with super abilities, it will enhance their abilities as long as Kalypso is channeling the energy. She can only do this to one person at a time.

Weaknesses and flaws: Kalypso is very young for an Eternal and has yet to master any of her abilities outside of illusions. She has a confidence problem due to the lack of being able to master her abilities. She is unable to transmute matter like her mother.

Backstory:

In revenge against the Eternals on Earth for treating him like a child, Sprite warped reality and caused all Earth Eternals to have no memory of who they are and any of their past deeds, but this did not affect their knowledge of how to use their abilities. Sersi was in New York when this happened and had no recollection of who she was or that she was an Eternal. Now Sylvia Sersi, Sersi eventually became a party planner and wound up having a very brief relationship with Starfox during one of his brief stays on Earth.

The result was a daughter born to Sersi after Starfox had returned to Titan. Sersi raised Kalypso as a single mother, teaching Kal how use her abilities thinking that they were mutant abilities and not inherited Eternal abilities.

Kal grew up in New York City attending public school and helping her mother in her party planning business. Kal inherited her mother’s fondness for being a hero and takes to the streets on occasion trying to help those in need. She helped out during a Hydra attack on Silver Sable on the streets of New York. A small taste of action, made her crave more.

Kalypso has managed to meet a few other superpowered individuals on the streets of New York. While outside the New York City Public Library, she tripped over a young man named Jack Murdock, son of Matt Murdock and Elektra Natchios. The two became close as Kalypso played tour guide to Jack during his stay in New York. While out one night with Jack, Kal received a telepathic plea for help. Kal unknowingly teleported herlsef and Jack to Antarctica where they discovered a city overrun by apparent monsters. They followed the call for help and discovered a stasis chamber underneath the city.

There they found the suspended form of Zuras, leader of the Eternals on Earth. They revived Zuras and fled the city going back to New York. Zuras restored Sersi's memories during this time. Sersi, Kalypso and Zura headed to Hollywood to confront Sprite, the cause of the Eternals' missing memories. Once they were restored, Kal returned to New York while Sersi went with Zuras and the other Eternals to clean the city of Deviants.

Kalypso took a trip to California to visit Jack during the holidays. While there the two of them ran into trouble in downtown San Francisco at the hands of a super powered foe. Kal returned home right after New Year's and has resumed going to school. Sersi returned to New York and resumed her party planning business. Jack stayed with Kalypso and Sersi until his mother's apartment was vacated. During Spring Break Kalypso traveled with Sersi to the Eternals' base in Anarctica to learn more about her other family.

Kal played tour guide when her cousin Iason arrived in New York. With his help, she traveled to Titan where she met her father. After spending some time on Titan, Kal returned to Earth.

Back on Earth she was marked and then kidnapped by deviants in an effort to bring Set back into the world. Alpha Flight, Avengers, Defenders, Fantastic Four and the X-Men all teamed up to rescue the kidnapped women who were to be brides of Set. Once free, Kal journeyed to Olympia to inform Ikaris of the new deviant threat.

War with the deviants was looming, but Kal returned to New York until the fighting would start. A quick trip to Rome for some cappuccino saw her meet a cousin from Polaria in the form of Eliosha Paravich. Kal and Eli talked for awhile and exchanged contact information, with plans to meet again soon. Kal returned to New York. Not long after her returned she arranged lunch with Iason and Eli. During lunch a psionic wave from the destruction of a uni-mind by the Olympian Eternals swept across the planet, causing Kal, Iason and Eli much pain.

Kal, Eli and Iason went to Olympia where they found the city in ruins and deviants moving about. They found Karkas and Gilgamesh and the unconscious Eternals. Another Eternal appeared on the scene and helped Kal, Iason and Eli. Eli transported the Eternals to Titan where the unconscious Eternals were given medical assistance. Kal and the others informed Mentor what happened and Kal met her half-brother Eli.

Kal, Iason, Dae and Eli traveled to Polaria to warn the Eternals there that an attack was imminent. The Polarian Eternals evacuated to Titan. While they were there a host of Eternals showed up. They were the dead Eternals of Titan, killed by Thanos in his many attacks on the moon. The newly resurrected Eternals attacked and Mentor formed a Uni-Mind. While in the Uni-Mind the corruption of the resurrected Eternals was discovered and the Uni-Mind was used to drive it back. The comatose Eternals were restored as well as the newly resurrected ones. The comatose psychics on Earth that had been affected by the backlash of the destruction of the Uni-Mind were also restored.

A strike force was assembled to take back the Eternal cities on Earth. Kalypso and Dae went with the group lead by Ikaris and Eros to take back Olympia. Eli went with the group to take back Polaria. The cities were regained and the rebuilding started.

Eli paid a visit to Kal and Kal took him to meet the Avengers. While they were there, Kang showed up and attacked. Kal, Eli and Iason helped fight. Eli and Iason would be among the group to go through time to stop him. Kal would remain behind.

Kal spent some time with Jack after being gone for some time. The two of them had dinner with Dae to get to know Kal's brother better. One day while out in the city she met Leo Hall. They two talked for awhile and eventually exchanged information.

One night while patrolling with Jack, Jack and Kal stumbled across a break in at a warehouse. There they ran across Crosshairs and Melissa Frost. They fought and eventually Crosshairs and Melissa left the scene. Jack and Kal didn't investigate the incident too closely. Jack and Kal would soon find themselves in the middle of a gang war with the Kingpin on one side and Rose Red on the other. During the fight Kal picked up a small item belonging to one of the men.

Jack's birthday came and Kal took him to the gardens of Olympia for a picnic lunch. The two of them would spend the night in Olympia and after a discussion they decided to move in together.

Kal called Leo to look at the item she picked up during the fight to see who was behind the increasing violence. There she met up with Jack, Abigail Hawk and Leo. Together the small band broke into where the Kingpin was holed up, but Rose Red had gotten there and taken care of the Kingpin. She took over his criminal empire and the heroes left.

The body of Victor Mancha was taken in a fight with the Thunderbolts and the Masters of Evil. The Thunderbolts called the Avengers to help them retrieve their teammate and together the two teams went to rescue Victor's body. Kal went and fought Big Foot and Iron Butterfly, making the two turn on each other with her use of illusions.

She met Ben Parker one day when she was having coffee and he literally bumped into her. He asked about the Avengers and Kal gave him James' name.

Kal's life would change a bit when she decided to join the Avengers full time instead of just being reserve. She would still live with Jack, but now spent her days at the Avengers Mansion. Giant demonic teddy bears attacked New York and Kal went with the Avengers and street types to stop them.

The holidays were spent with Jack and his family since Sersi wasn't in New York. Kal and Jack attended the Winter Charity ball together but it was interrupted when Steve Barton showed up. Kal and the Avengers went to the other world and helped save it from alien invasion. Not long after they returned home, the Avengers who had been hopping through time reappeared. Kal was very happy to see her cousins Iason and Eli again.

Luna invited Kal and the rest of Eli's friends to dinner to celebrate his birthday at the West Coast Avenger's headquarters.
