Codename: Tsunami
Age: 20
Height:5'7"
Weight: 130lbs
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Blond (now blue)
Relatives: Robert Drake (father), Amara Aquilla Drake (mother) Cornelius Drake (brother), Rufus Drake (brother), William Drake and Lucius Aquila (grandfathers), Madeline Drake (grandmother)
Base of Operations: Xavier's Institute For Higher Learning Westchester NY, Nova Roma Brazil
Skills: Cait is fluent in English, Latin and Portuguese
Powers:
Hydrokinesis:
- Snow manipulation: A move that pushes and levitates snow for attack, shielding and defense.
- Water Whips: The most frequently seen move involves creating a lashing tendril of water to swipe at an opponent. The shape, size, and length are all determined by a person's control. More powerful people can create larger whips or ones of greater finesse. Due to water being incompressible, a whip can be sharpened into a blade that can even slice through metal with relative ease.
- Water Jets: High pressure jets can be used to force opponents back or even blast clean through a target if focused enough.
- Waves: By moving a large mass of water without separating it from its original source, hyrokinetics can create waves of nearly any size. This can be used to sweep opponents away or even as a form of transport, with the person surfing on the crest of the wave. This same process can be used to propel waterborne crafts.
- Water Bullet: The Water Bullet is a move where a hydrokinetic moves a large amount of water and sends it in a forceful blow towards their target.
- Water Walls/Water Shields: Water can be molded into any shape and can by used to deflect an attack, trap opponents in a viscous body, reshaped and propelled at attackers before they can recover, or solidified into a shield of ice
- Water Thermokinesis: Hydrokinetics also possess thermokinetic abilities regarding their element, meaning that they can alter the physical state of the water they manipulate (between liquid, solid and gas) at will. Changing the phase of water allows for multiple techniques in the course of a battle, from encasing an opponent in ice to hiding behind a wall of mist. Ice and steam/fog can also be molded in a diverse range of shapes. Ice provides a degree of hard lethality since it can be molded into spikes or blades to pin down or impale opponents. Steam or mist can obscure a battlefield and mask movement
- Ice Spear It involves freezing a stream of water and then sending the frozen result flying at the target.
- Ice Shield: A Hydrokinetic can freeze an amount of water in front of them, creating a shield of ice.
- Ice Discs: A Hydrokinetic can create a cylindrical column of water and proceed to slice razor-sharp sections of it off and send them at an opponent.
- Water Knife: ability to compress water, allowing for the sharp edge of a knife. It enables a Hydrokinetic to effortlessly cut through metal, wood and stone.
- Sweat Manipulation: Resourceful Hydrokinetics can bend their own sweat to use as a makeshift weapon in the case of being separated from a source of water.

- Condensation: Not only can skilled Hydrokinetics condense clouds into a usable source of water, but they also can condense invisible water vapor right out of the air. The difficulty for this is dependent on the relative humidity.
- Water Run: This is a technique in which Hydrokinetics would use all four limbs to run on water at very high speeds, in addition to riding on foreign objects with the same purpose.
- Bubble: When in need to cross large bodies of water, capable Hydrokinetic are able to create a bubble around themselves, keeping an air supply for them and for others.
- Water Spout: This high-level technique involves controlling a whirlpool-like pillar of water as a weapon, rotating it and directing its movements at the same time.
- Octopus form: A body of water formed around the user into 8 or so whip-like limbs which can be used to grasp or strike an opponent or to intercept and seize incoming attacks.
Hydrokinetic powers she will eventually develop:
- Ice Dome: A highly advanced technique a Hydrokinetic may surround a foe in a viscous sphere of water and then freeze it, trapping their opponent inside.
- Ice Prison: Covers an opponent in a prison made of ice.
- Maelstrom: In a large body of water, a Hyrokinetic can create a gigantic whirlpool.
- Water Dome: A Hydrokinetic can collect water from the rain, forming a dome which can be used for both offense and defense.
- Blood control Since the human body is roughly 75% water, Hydrokinetics does not necessarily involve blood, but the fluids in one’s body, allowing the user to manipulate a body's muscles to move as they wish or to stop movement completely. Potentially, a Hydrokinetic could stop a victim's heart or crush his/her internal organs.
History:
Caitlyn is the first child born to Robert Drake and Amara Aquilla Drake and has two younger brothers. Cait’s family spent time between New York and Nova Roma during her childhood. Cait’s powers manifested when she was fourteen and she had a hard time controlling them at first. Her parents decided to send her to Xavier’s to learn how to control them.
Cait spent four years at Xavier’s learning how to control her powers and taking classes there. She practices with her powers whenever she can and has developed considerable control over them.
Cait tries to be the responsible one and does look out for her brother, despite loving to tease him whenever she can. When she was younger she loved playing practical jokes on people, but has since grown out of that for the most part. She will play a prank on her brother whenever she can.
Cait saw an ad in a paper for a casting call for a new teen drama show. Deciding to give it a try, she went into the city to audition. The audition was a setup by Mojo and his operatives, Mojoforce. Cait along with a few other students from Xavier's were kidnapped and taken to Mojo World to star in Mojo's shows. The younger X-Men tracked them down and rescued them.
Cait went to a local community college for one semester before dropping out to join the Coast Guard.
During the Marauders attack on Xavier's Cait squared off against Winterkill. During the fight Winterkill managed to touch Cait and use her cold powers on Cait. Two fingers on Cait's left hand were instantly frozen solid and were broken off. Cait also suffered frostbite on two toes on her right foot which had to be removed. Winterkill knocked Cait out, but Cait regained consciousness in time to see Winterkill hurting Cait's younger brother Rufus. Cait used every last bit of her powers against Winterkill and managed to knock the woman out. Cait took Rufus to the medlab and Winterkill escaped.
Cait went inactive and dropped out of the Coast Guard basic training program.
The MLF kidnapped some children of US senators and took them to the Statue of Liberty. They threatened to kill the kids unless the Registration Act was killed. The X-Men responded, but as they were trying to rescue the kids the Marauders showed up to engage the X-Men. The Champions showed up to help the X-Men. Cait and Corey were both knocked out during the fight and taken by the Marauders.
She was captured by Apocalypse's forces and turned into Famine, one of Apocalypse's Horsemen. Cait had blue hair and blue skin after the change. As Famine she helped to destroy countless crops around the world to bring on a food shortage. Apocalypse had his Horsemen and Dark Riders create a citadel in New York City. When the citadel rose, the X-Men, Fantastic Four and Avengers responded. Cait ended up battling Aaron Wyatt, a fellow X-Man she had liked before the change. Aaron managed to knock Cait out during the fight.
Cait was taken back to Xavier's where the brainwashing done by Apocalypse was reversed. Her skin went back to normal but her hair remained blue.
Cait and Aaron finally got around to talking to each other and both admitted to liking the other. Before they could explore where their relationship was going, Cait returned to Nova Roma to spend some time with her parents and Corey. During their time in Nova Roma a few citizens went missing in the jungle. There was rumors of the jungle plants coming to life and attacking the people. Cait and Corey called the X-Men to come down and investigate.
The X-Men came to Nova Roma to investigate the missing Nova Romans and the missing loggers. They found a man calling himself the Plant King. He was trying to keep the rain forest from being destroyed. The X-Men fought him and defeated him, but Cait and Corey talked him into helping the Nova Romans with the forest.
Cait returned to Xavier's and started to explore a relationship with Aaron.
Starbridge arrived on Earth seeking the X-Men's help. Cait went with the team to Chandrillar to help the Shi'ar stop Galactus from devouring their throne world. Glacactus was driven off and then the Shi'ar went after the Phoenix. The X-Men kept the Shi'ar from taking Rachel in and they all went home.
Cait and Aaron had their first official date when they went to a movie and dinner. Their first kiss didn't come until Independence Day and the two watched fireworks by the lake.
Arthur Pittman Dane-Drake arrived at Xavier's and The Professor informed Cait that she had a dimensionally challenged half-brother. Cait called Corey to come to Xavier's and when he arrived she informed him and Rufus about their new arrival. The three of them went to meet Arthur and talk with him. It didn't go exactly like Cait had hoped, but she wants to work on it and develop a relationship with her brother.
She didn't get much of a chance as Arthur returned to his home dimension not long after arriving.
The next few months were quiet and Cait and Aaron spent more and more time with each other. One night while they were out on a date they noticed a man following them. They decided to confront him and learned that the guy was Aaron's father.
More excitement would come when renegade drones attacked Xavier's and the X-Men rallied to defeat them.
Cait would attend the Maria Stark Annual Winter Charity event with Aaron and spend the holidays with him and her family. Amara and Bobby gave Cait a trip to Mexico for her and Aaron for her birthday. The two headed off to Cozumel.
Personality:
For the most part Cait is a laid back, go with the flow, type of person. She is dedicated to learning how to use her powers to the best of her ability and spends a lot of time practicing. She has a sense of humor and likes to laugh. Having a deep sense of responsibility has led her to take on a big sister type of role to the students of Xavier's.
