Powers:
Shrinks, down to half an inch tall. In sizes a few inches tall or less, she can unfurl chitinous-layered wings that allow for flight.
At her Actual Size strength, speed, and durability minisculely above human capability, but these increase exponentially as she shrinks, bringing her close to invulnerability in her tinier forms.
History:
Although she gave her daughter her father's 'last name' to grant her the convenience of avoiding constant Van Dyne spotlight, Janet Van Dyne was the primary parent for Vernique as Paladin continued his very-frequent-flyer profession. Still, he was a doting father, and Vernique was well-travelled from an early age, and well trained for an active lifestyle by both parents.

Vernique is not her father; she's perfectly happy 'giving it away for free' in terms of protecting people. But she's got a zest for wheeling and dealing in other areas of her life, and while 'shallow' may be putting it a little harshly, she did go through a bit of effort to ensure that her wings were colored like a Cosmopolitan butterfly.

Vernique is currently in the process of finishing a degree in finance at NYU with a minor in creative writing.
